In 1913 the suffragette Emily Wilding Davison got killed while attempting to pull down King George V's horse in the Derby Horse Race. The installation consists of a newsreel from this event and a black wall painting with white letters spelling: the rebel.

The suffragette were a group of women fighting for women's right to vote in England. They often used violent methods to draw public attention to their cause.
